Anika Rose, born in the year 2000 is an American actor and singer. She is most famous for her role as Tiana Disney's very first African American Princess as Tiana Disney's first African American Princess in The Princess and the Frog. Disney named her a legend in the year 2011. Rose played Lorrell Robertson, the character in Dreamgirls, which won an Academy Award. Anika Noni (born September 6th, 1972) is a songwriter as well as an American actor. Her most well-known role is portraying Tiana Disney's first princess of African descent as seen in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Disney named her a Legend in 2011. The actress has also received recognition for her theatre performances, such as her starring parts as Caroline or Change Caroline or Change (2004) on Broadway for which her Tony Award was won for Best actress in a the Musical.
